Prince of Peace Lutheran Church
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church is a member congregation of
the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and its Southwestern Pennsylvania Synod.
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church is a family-oriented congregation having both a strong Christian Education program and an active Youth Group.
Within the setting of worship our church family gathers to praise God and equip ourselves for its mission in the world.
Worship at Prince of Peace is centered on Word and Sacrament Ministry, the Word of Jesus Christ in the Holy Scriptures preached and the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion celebrated in the context of the Word of God.
Holy Communion is celebrated on the first and third Sundays of each month, on each festival Sunday, and on the third Saturday evening of each month. During the seasons of Advent, Lent, and Easter, we celebrate communion each Sunday. We believe that when we receive the bread and wine during the Sacrament of Holy Communion we are receiving the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ through His Real Presence.
All Baptized Christians who believe in the Real Presence of Christ in the Sacrament are welcome to receive this gift of God at Prince of Peace.
